Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center has been recognized as a Community Network Partner by the American Cancer Society.
The Community Health Advisor (CHA) program was created to reduce the stark disparities in areas carrying some of the highest cancer mortality rates in the country. This program leverages volunteer community health advisors and other local resources like federally qualified health centers to deliver prevention and early detection messages and navigate patients to screenings.
